FolkCubaDate: January & July
The folk dances; reflecting Cuba's Afro-Spanish inheritance, include the Rumba, Mambo, Son, Cha Cha Cha, and the Conga. Prices start at USD 250, which includes popular dances, Santeria dances (Yoruba), and a panoramic overview of Cuban culture. They also organize the Cuballet de Invierno, a festival to promote teaching and ballet. |

Twice a year (in January and July), FolkCuba organises its dance courses in Havana. Classes are given by some of the most eminent figures of the Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba (Cuban National Folk Company). There are also courses and talks on the island's culture.
