Memorial José Martí
The 109 m marble tower here is the highest point in Havana. At the base of the tower is a massive statue of the poet and national independence hero José Martí. Inside the base is a small museum dedicated to Martí featuring manuscripts, memorabilia, portraits, and other informative displays. An elevator takes visitors up to a series of lookout rooms atop the tower, offering far-reaching panoramic views of Havana.
The lookout is by far the most interesting and popular attraction here, although there's also a little theater where concerts and poetry readings are sometimes held.
