Acuario Nacional de Cuba

Dolphins in the Acuario Nacional de CubaInstitute dedicated to education and preservation of the saltwater creatures from the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico has marine exhibits open to the public. See corals, turtles, eels, sea horses and dolphin shows. A few years ago, the National Aquarium got a major facelift and improvements are ongoing. It's not SeaWorld or the Baltimore Aquarium, but this is a pretty spiffy attempt for Cuba. A variety of tanks and pools re-create all the major water habitats of Cuba, and sea lion and dolphin shows are presented throughout the day. This place is very popular with Cuban families and school groups, so it's a great place to mingle.
