Cayo Santa Maria

It is considered as a hidden jewel with its unspoiled natural beauty safely hidden from the rest of the world. Cayo Largo Del Sur

The key is in the heart of the Caribbean , it was given the name due to its long shape. The key's history dates back to the aboriginal period and several artifacts have been sited in the area. The key has a lot of tourist attractions, the beaches which have fine white sand, crystal clear water, virgin sea where you get to see fish of different colors.

The best beaches are found in this key, they include playa Luna also known as the moon beach, playa Cocos this name comes from the plenty of coconuts found on the beach, Playa Tortugas the name means turtles this is because every year turtles lay their eggs on the beach. Christopher Columbus made a stop on the key during his second trip to Cuba

Cayo Blanco

The beauty of this key is breathtaking, with a combination of the sea, mountain and a magnificent natural environment. Activities are in plenty, great music, swimming, snorkeling, and there a bar on the beach. For the romantic you can watch the sunset.


Cayo Saetía

The key is located on the nipe bay which is the largest in the region. The key is enchanting; it has beautiful virgin beaches with clear waters and great vegetation covering most of the key. What attracts visitors to this key is the fact that its flora and fauna has been preserved for so many years. The beauty has not been spoiled by human invasion it remains hidden from the world.

For animal lovers, you will have the best treat. Some of the animals in the area include wild boars, zebras, buffaloes, wild bulls and many more. Cayo Sabinal

The key got its name from a tree called Sabina, and with the name comes an interesting history. The key is part of Sabana-Camaguey Archipelago . The history of the key dates back to the days of pirates, it is believed that pirates inhabited the area. San Hilario is a fort that was built by Spaniard for protection against the pirates. The fort once served as a military prison, but nowadays it a symbol of the key and it is a major tourist attraction.

The key has the perfect weather; it's warm and wet during the day while at night there is a cool breeze. With such a climate you will enjoy the beautiful beaches. Cayo Guillermo

The key is located near the key of Cayo Coco in the Camagüey archipiélago . Although the key is small it has fantastic attractions virgin beaches and cool waters and green plantations. The key is filled with pink flamingoes and pelicans on the shores of the sea. The sea is home to fish of all kinds and colour and this is what attracted Ernest Hemmingway to fish in the area and he mentioned the key in his book “island in the stream”. The key boasts as being the best fishing spot in the area. Activities are in plenty in the area, bird watchers get a treat since there many different birds, and you can take a walk or just have a wild time on the beach.

The key is truly one of Cuba 's masterpieces and all those who visit are taken back by its beauty. It is also a favourite for honeymooners who enjoy the nature and the sandy beaches. Visitors get to create memories that last a life time.


Cayo Coco

The beautiful paradise is the fourth largest and is located on the coast of Cuba . The key has managed to preserve its nature and it has stayed hidden from the rest of the world. The virgin beaches that stretch 10km have fine white sand and crystal clear waters. The key is also home to thousands of pink flamingoes and birds of different types. Everything in this key is first class; visitors get to enjoy first class treatment in everything. Fun filled activities are in plenty, they range from water sports, horse riding, and you can also enjoy a guided tour. The diving center also helps visitors to know where to dive and how to get the best experience.

The key has many resorts and international hotels hence attracting more visitors to the area. The area also boasts of having it own airport and visitors can now fly to Cayo Coco directly. Visitors describe the key as the most beautiful place in the world.


Cayo Las Brujas

Cayo Las Brujas is unspoiled, beautiful and breathtaking. It has the best that nature can offer. The key has fantastic beaches with white sands. Animals move freely in the area but fear not they are harmless. Nature has been persevered and this has led to more plants and animals in the region.

Of all the northern keys Cayo las Brujas is considered to be the most beautiful. The Villas Las Brujas beach is well known for its fine sand and clear waters. The key is home to beautiful bungalows and resorts.

Historical fanatics will get to see the works of Ernest Hemmingway which have been kept at a stranded ship. The ship was deserted by San Francisco Shipyard Company; and has now been reconstructed to a beautiful ten room hotel. The ship stands out and it is surrounded by a beautiful landscape.


Cayo Ensenachos

Although it is considered to be the smallest it has the best beaches. It is linked to the other key by the pedraplén. The key's location behind Cayo Santa Maria is convenient in that it is protected from the raging sea hence its sea remains calm all through.

The beaches are perfect since they are unspoiled and well maintained. Visitors get to feel the warm, clean and crystal clear waters as they take a swim or participate in water sports. The magnificent Royal Hideaway hotel is situated in the key.


Cayo Levisa

Cayo Levisa is located on the north of Pinar Del Rio and is surrounded by vegetation. The key is unique since to get to it you can only travel by boat. Since it is secluded it has retained its natural beauty and the beaches are unspoiled. The key takes you back in time; since everything is like it was centuries ago. Mollusks of the genus Trigonia which are believed to be the first fossils are also found in the region.

The key has a lot to offer, attractions, various activities (scuba diving, snorkeling and nautical sports) and fishing is great since there are different species of fish for example eels, lobsters, black breams and many more. Villa Cayo Levisa is in the key and it is a major tourist attraction. It has fifteen diving sites which are on the shores and a blue warm beach. While on the key you can visit the Rosario mountain range and the peninsula of Guanahacabibes which are UNESCO biosphere reserves.
